Ryan, a native of Connecticut, attended Connecticut College where he majored in Economics and History.  While pursuing an independent study on French Colonialism in Indochina, he was able to study abroad in Hanoi during his junior year, where he fell in love with the country, its people, and their indomitable spirit.  Years later a serendipitous meeting with Nhat paved the way for Ryan‘s involvement with the Fund for Dreams and its students.  Over almost a decade, Ryan has built his relationship with Fund For Dreams, supporting and connecting with students.  In 2024, Ryan joined the Fund for Dreams Board.  Ryan lives with his wife and dog in Westchester, NY and works in private equity in New York City.
